Guilherme Ferreira — Índio Artesão
Guilherme Ferreira, known as Índio Artesão, is the Brazilian artist responsible for creating the Giant Turtle of Pontal do Sul, on the Paraná Coast. The monumental sculpture depicts a leatherback sea turtle (Dermochelys coriacea) nesting on the beach and has become a local symbol connecting public art, coastal identity, marine biodiversity and environmental awareness.
